Charitable Programs

LIONS ARE KNOWN AS Knights of the blind.

Since Helen Keller challenged Lions Clubs International at the 1925 Convention, we have been most noted for our sight conservation service. We also support many other worthwhile community projects, and donate more than $59,000 per year to local, state, and national charitable organizations.

The Culpeper Lions Clubs together furnish eyeglasses to any child which is a resident of Culpeper County and is unable to afford them. Application should be made through the school nurse.

Adults may get free eye exams and glasses by contacting the Culpeper County Social Services Department,to get an appointment with George Randolph to complete the application to see if they meet our needs requirrement. this application will be sent to us for a decision. If an adult needsa hearing aid the same process is followed.
