BINGO Cancelled for January 5th, 2025!

Hello everyone. Unfortunately, we will be cancelling bingo due to the impending poor weather and the threat of bad driving conditions. As this is a frustration for everyone, we want to put the safety of our workers and our patrons at the top of our concerns. We ask for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you in the future. Again, thanks for your support of Culpeper Mid-Day Lions Club Bingo and we hope to see you soon.

Lions Club International 100th year Anniversary Celebration

In honor of the 100th year of Lionism in the United States, the Culpeper Mid-Day Lions commissioned a sculpture of a pair of eyeglasses to be placed in the local Culpeper community. After multi-year process, the Mid-Day Lions are proud to have that art piece on display at Rockwater Park on Madison Road in the town of Culpeper. The piece will be a symbol of the hard work and dedication that Lions everywhere place into providing sight to the blind across the world. The local Mid-Day club are proud to be apart of that tradition and wanted to celebrate the anniversary of this work with this enduring piece of art. Local artist Rocque Castro was primarily responsible for the piece design and supervised the process through completion. The piece will be dedicated at a ceremony on April 14th at the park. The public is invited and we hope that celebration is a grand time for all. Our hope is that the piece serves as a reminder to all of the mission of Lions worldwide: “We Serve.”

Local children enjoy climbing on the oversized glasses at Rockwater Park.

BINGO HAS MOVED

We have been fortunate to move our bingo to Brandy Station Fire Department. Because of the move, Culpeper Mid-Day Lions have a lot more run for their patrons to move about and to have space for bingo. We can also accommodate more folks by having a bigger spot. Come join us on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM for early birds and at 7:00 PM for regular bingo. Hope to see you there.

Manna Meal

The Culpeper Mid-Day Lions and the Culpeper ’92 Lions spent a rewarding day feeding the community on March 26th, 2021. The two Culpeper clubs spent this Friday morning preparing meals for approximately 50 folks here in Culpeper County.
